The Colony of Fane Thalieus

Fane Thalieus is a separatist colony formed by a group of elves who dubbed themselves Cinder Elves, in honor of the loss of the First Collonade, the ruins of which the Fane Thalys is built upon, now known as the Cinderwood. It is known for its trademark cut tree trunks and cylindrical building structure, and the colony keeps itself isolated from all other kingdoms but protects its borders with a harsh ferocity.

• High Fane: The ruler of the Colony and its denizens, elected by the people and the Fane Lords in an election every 
• Fane Lords: The lieutenants of the Colony each tasked with ruling a smaller settlement and seeing to its needs, protections, and requirements.

History

The modern-day Cinder Elves were formed by Elven Separatists who broke away from the normal kingdom of Nyth Noelle after the Elvish Alliance with the humans took place, knowing the human kingdoms would do what they could to rob the Elves of their land and power. The separatists believed that Aya'danu should have stepped down and invoked the rite for another appropriate Archfey to take the Throne once they learned about the Orcish assault. As such, they took up residence within the ruined lands of the old Collonade at the heart of the destroyed realm of Fane Thalieus, refusing to leave it and slowly re-building and nurturing the land back to its original prominence, though this will take longer due to the need to root out the abyssal and orcish blight upon the land set by Zahm.
