The War of Divinity, often called the Cataclysmic Event, was a world-shaking conflict in Aldorath's history. Fought between the Greater Deities led by Aethon and the forces of Lucifer, Lord of Hell, it reshaped the destiny of the world. The war scarred the land, tearing civilizations asunder and transforming fertile landscapes into desolate wastelands marked by craters. The final Battle of Eternity's End left the land forever changed, its very essence haunted by the cataclysmic fury of divine and infernal conflict. Though the gods withdrew to rebuild their realms, Aldorath emerged as a world forever altered, bearing the indelible mark of the War of Divinity as a solemn reminder of the cost of divine hubris and the fragility of existence.
