The 3 moons

The 3 moons of Aldan are known as Io, Ka and Ta, also known as the 3 sisters of balance.

The y are the main forces ruling over the world of Aldan, as well as the forces of nature, magic and life.

it is said that the three goddesses came into being during the unseen age. It was a time when the elements and seasons would change at a moment's notice.

The earth shifted, and continents drifted apart only to become one again. Typhoons would rampage through the land and waves, and flames would clash fiercely. When the world was prepared to take it last breath, the three goddesses descended, bringing order to the chaos.

Io, took over the oceans, calming the raging waves and creating a balance of nature and life.

Ka, took over the seasons, free spirited and gentle, she dances through the each season keeping the balance. Her clothes change with the seasons making it her easy to spot.

Ta, had tamed the worlds magic, restraining the wild forces, creating rules and giving the gift of magic to all creatures.

Under their guidance and leadership the world began to prosper, many races began to appear some bearing the marks of one of the three goddesses.

The three goddesses maintain the balance between life, nature and magic.

Mythology

According to the scriptures the 3 goddesses had created the world divided between their domains. Ka, created the earth, the flora and fauna of Aldan. During the process a lock of her hair feel shaking the earth and creating the mountains and valleys and the with a breath gave life to the clay. Shaking her staff she made trees grow and shaking of her dress all manners of creatures leaped out and populated the world.

Her sister IO, used her pitcher and scale to flood the earth creating the rivers, oceans and lakes. Maintaining the balance between the land and sea with her scales.

Ta, then carved the laws and rules of magic using her quill and started carving the lay lines and infusing them with power of order. Thus grating the world and all living beings the ability to wield the elements, with magic.

The 3 goddesses once their duty was done curled up into 3 spheres in order to watch over the realm they created. For 750 Years they watched their creations grow and thrive in their world they created. However, the goddess of magic Ta saw the current state of the magical realm to be insufficient and had been adding more lay lines into the world behind her sisters back.

By the time other two realized what she was doing it was already too late as the new ley lines were unstable creating a large burst known as the begging of the age of the red moon.

The burst of magic rippled through the world in a violent explosion causing the plants and animals to drastically change. The ones closest to the center became known as the lost their forms no longer looked like they did when first created, descending into blood lust and madness the 3 goddesses used their strength to seal them away but not all of them, the remnants would later become known as monsters,

Those further away gained abilities and sentience giving rise to the first civilization before
