Tsu Tao Character in Alcirya | World Anvil

Tsu Tao

Tsu-Tao is the great unending love of her fellow god, Palanos. Tsu-Tao, while dedicated to the might and truth of Palanos also recognized that creation, when acting upon its own truth, is not simply made of one singular path and that the lives of all creation are in a state of flux - without great tragedy there cannot be great trimpuh and joy - a thought utterly rejected by Palanos. Thus, Palanos' love could not be fully accepted and Tsu-Tao had to forge her own path. She became dedicated to creation at its base, the firmament, the earth, the weather, and those creatures whose lives are initiated or ended by those forces. Tsu-Tao, created the elemental planes, gave life and freewill to those within, and drew the power of those planes into the prime material to eternally fuel its growth and change.

In the creation story, She is the "Other" and the chosen lover of Palanos. While she betrayed Palanos at the outset, it is her wisdom and dedication which keeps Palanos and Al Vingaar in balance.

Tsu-Tao is the god of all natural life and her charge is the preservation andperpetuation of all living things in the natural world.

Tsu-Tao has but one New God in the world, the Gruenvater.

Like all the Old Gods, Tsu-Tao is a far more abstract quantity and, thus, has no particular plane of existence, rather, her presence is felt through vibrant thrum of the living world. She is, essentially, infinitely powerful and has no need of material objects.
