You shout a warning that alerts your ally to an enemy attack, allowing your comrade to dodge and riposte.​ ​If an ally within 5 squares of you would be hit by an enemy, you may grant the ally a +2 AC/Saving Throw bonus to all defenses against the attack. The ally can make a melee attack against the enemy as a free action. This must be played BEFORE damage is dealt.​
