Outland Priest

Some rustic priests in Alcirya do not believe in the traditional pantheon of gods that have been established. Instead, they have divined a new belief set that they have convinced others is true. They establish their own core beliefs, rules, and traditions. They belong to the group called outland priests.

Role

Most organized faiths in the Alcirya preach tolerance. In practice, however, they keep a close eye on strangers who spread the faith of new gods, and whose gods appear to answer by granting spells. In Alcirya, the relationships between the churches, the gods, and the avatars are rather precarious; the last thing a Alciryan priest wants is some outland barbarian priest upsetting the balance with a radical new faith.
