New Year Report
General Summary
The party reentered what they believe is Quasqueton, the old fortress established by a mage and his fighter companion. After a strange encounter in the forest (crazy roasted pig with no smell, flying rocks, and Sol running into the forest in fear only to be calmed by humming a tune?) the Defenders rested a night in the burnt orc cavern. In the morning, they rappelled into the pool room to discover the "new goo" they created has hardened into obsidian-like protrusions throughout the cavern. Some of the pools are ruined, including the wine, to Caine's chagrin.
Moving forward, Sol explored via his enchantments and we found a room - possibly belonging to "Erig"? - and found a trog corpse that appears to have been eaten. A chest was rummaged and a plaque and bust (statue) were discovered.
