Basic Skills

These are skills that all Player Character's (depending on race and/or class) can use.
Detect Invisibility
You must have a reason to attempt to do this, make save vs. spell, success and you detect some element allowing an attack at -4, no sight aimed Spell List are allowed.
Cooking
Can prepare stew, roasted meat, and bread.
Jumping
May not be injured. Need 20ft. of running room. Size M creature get 2d6ft. distance, may choose to land prone to add 1d3 ft. Size S creatures reduce distance by 25%.
Riding
If spooked, a horse will flee at 1.5 move for 1d4 rds. Horses spook 90%, Warhorses spook 10%.
Untrained horses give rider -2 to all actions. Non-proficient riders get -2 to all actions and may not use missile weapons.
Singing
May only sing basic tunes and in choruses. Can not read music etc.
Swimming
Can stay afloat for the number of hours equal to Con. Making checks each hour. After Con. Is used up, check every ½ hour and reduce Con. At each check. Encumbrance reduces by 1/3, ½, or 2/3, respectively. Move = 1
Climbing
All at base 40% adjusted by Armor List and race as per thieves.
Native Language
Can speak native language very basically. Can recognize other, normal languages verbally (75%), written (25%)​
