5.2.20 - Hail to the Chief!

General Summary

Moving from the secret meeting room, the party spied movement down the corridor ahead of them. The party followed the lone orc and ran into a few guards. While most were dispatched easily, a lone warrior held the team up until the Chieftain arrived from his chambers and engaged the party. After a hard fought battle (both Sol and Markus were nearly slain), the party prevailed with a lucky opening when the leader attacked wildly. Caine sent him to his forefathers in the next moment. Ifera found a new cave exit and saw the orcs climbing the cliffs above them... when they saw her they began to pelt her with rocks.

After spending a few minutes assessing the area, new figure emerged from the cave entrance. The party made a hasty retreat to the secret meeting room and jammed the door shut.

Rewards Granted

A shield (form the orc chieftain) was found that appears to be enchanted. It bears an emblem of a rotten tree upon it's face. Additinally, an enchanted rope was pilfered with 157 ep from a sack left on the ground. Sol took a copper/silver bowl. Caine snatched a silver belt with a gold belt buckle.
