The armor worn by the latruskian kings was legendary, and so was their sword and shield. Sadly, upon Louis' death, the armor was shattered into many shards, and his sword and shield were lost. The name of such set of equipment was lost to time, but many individual pieces of equipment have been known to exist with the official stamp of the van Eric family.

King Louis van Eric III was well educated by his father and mother in the inner workings of his state, as well as in the art of war. He was trained by the finest swordsmen that were both from the homeland and from abroad.
Accomplishments & Achievements
It was during his time as a prince that he lead his men bravely and wisely against the neighboring states, frustrating an ambush attempt at his father's army. his force was small but elite. While his father's army passed through a narrow passage the attackers positioned themselves at the higher hills and peaks, ready to perform their coward maneuver. It was then that Prince Louis attracted a great pack of white lions that were passing nearby within the snow. he ran for his life along with his small and elite force. They turned a corner and hid, making the great pack stop to search for them, accidentally finding the enemy and attacking them. The ensuing conflict not only blew the enemy's cover but also threw them into chaos, giving the prince and his men a chance to attack along with his father's forces. It was then and there that he was called The Great White Lion or The Alpha Lion.
Failures & Embarrassments
Many years after his father's and mother's death Louis was now the King of his land and people. Shortly before the fall of his kingdom, the king had established a peace deal with the neighbor kingdoms. The latruskians had been at war for many decades against such kingdoms and some of the population felt justified to dehumanize their enemies. And thus terrorist and radical groups formed around the border claiming to be working in the name of the King. Due to the slow response of the state's law enforcement and the king said groups had time to grow and managed to ambush a small military caravan, murdering a noble from the neighbor kingdom, throwing them at war again. By the time the great divine hordes attacked much of the latruskian army was busy dealing with the many border skirmishes... and it was because of this that the capital was relatively undefended.

It is said that King Louis was charismatic and fair, but ruthless when needed, never using force unless necessary. He was a strategic genius, often making use of unorthodox strategies and turning the enemy's strength against them. It was because of his high rate of success that he sometimes got overly confident, leading to some failures at his career as a king.
