Albaite

Albaite is an ancient and enigmatic stone, found in the oldest structures across Midwin and Alboric. According to ancient texts and legend, buildings crafted from Albaite once gleamed a pristine white, but over the centuries, the stone has deepened into an impenetrable black.
Its origins remain a mystery—no records exist of its quarrying or creation, and no known method can replicate it. Exceptionally durable, Albaite resists all modern tools, defying attempts to chisel or reshape it. Yet, the intricate carvings etched into its surface long ago remain as crisp and striking as the day they were made, testaments to both the craftsmanship of a lost era and the stone’s enduring nature.
