Sciathera Skelic is the Deminatural daughter of Spiridusian Nix Ephemeris Skelic of The Mantle's Starquake and Argonauta Salieri Realtai Sauserous, Princeps of Pelagia's sub-kingdom of Maris Superficiem. Born asomatically, or in an incorporeal preternatural state, the birth of eldest of the Skelic children was not detected until 19 days afterward. She was discovered coalescing near the kingdom of Youthquake by cousin and acting Liegelord Carnis Guillotin Realtai Carcassonne and returned to her family, who then began using different colors of réaltach (Common trans. "Stardust, Starblood) to keep track of her. Despite the somewhat confusing circumstances of her birth from the moment of her discovery Sciathera knew nothing but the love and support of her parents and, later, younger siblings. She would go on to become a fervently accomplished academic in her own right, reaching somatosis through extensive research into the work of Adaleis Lake.

The birth of Mergitur spurred the family's decision to emigrate to the newly established Nixian-Pitic city of Burgess on the border between realms rather than continuing to split their time between The Mantle and Pelagia and Sciathera opted to go with them in the hopes of using the cultural melting pot to find a method of acheiving somatosis and finally possessing a fully realized corporeal form of her own. While she did not find the answers she sought, she did find a community that welcomed her with open arms and made efforts to accommodate her unique physicality so that she might share in the bounty gifted to them by the Numen of Orthodox Animism - this newfound sense of community granted Sciathera access or organizations such as the Memoriam Inanimatam and the Reminiscentia, both of whom accepted her for remote study in 7001 RF/ED.
Sciathera's search for corporeality led her first to the assorted works of cousin Galexia Vigore Fay Réalta na Maidine in her both her capacity as Vivus Reminiscentia and Racine of Mechanics and Movement, which she attributes as the basis of her foundation for the process of developing somatic agency, but found that while Mechanic Organism provided a unique kind of comfort for her unique situation, in all pragmatism the strand of research did not quite cover the extent of her queries. It would be millennia before she came across anything that sounded like it might pertain to her needs. Finally in 10.414 GS/LM the Reminiscentia community welcomed the twin princess of Broceliande and among them was Reminiscentia Adaleis Lake and the announcement of a new, cutting-edge field of preternatural focus: Preternatural Physiognomy & Illusory Mechanics. The focus could be supplemented with Preternatural Phantastmatography, the academic description and classifcation of rainbows and other luminous atmospheric phenomena.
Sciathera pored through the works as quickly as she could get access to them, often spending whole weeks all but inert with the focus that gripped her. After years of grueling research and extensive theoretical work, she at last achieved somatosis in 10.420 GS/LM by learning how to call matter to herself using her own magical signature as a focal point and construct a body around her essence. Amazed at the success she'd acheived thanks to the racine of Illusions and Bent Light, Sciathera found herself drawn to the eschataologies that surrounded Princess Lake and began to delve into the study of both her Cridhean and Organist aspects, finding a such a special kinship in the tenets and teachings of the Porcelain Reaper that she herself has chosen to be made of Porcelain. Sciathera went on to found the Temple of the Porcelain Reaper in Burgess' religious center of Mantic in Nepenthe of 10.440 GS/LM.
