Ousebridge

A town on the Ouse, and a pilgrimage site in the Faith of Sevras the Weaver, said to be the place from which he began to weave the universe together. It holds the primary temple of the faith, from where the church generally is managed, and as such is a seat of power, but more importantly it brings people to the town. It does not hurt, however, that the town is also located on the coast, surrounded by beutiful vistas and beaches, and due to a quirk of nature, is rarely windy or cold.
The magical energies that keep the water nearby warm are little understood, but the shielding from the wind is entirely due to the nearby land formations diverting it. WIth these two factors combined, it is a popular relaxation spot for the wealthy, where they can soak up the restorative energies of the water while not bothering with the outside world.
As a destination for powerful people, it of course has a tiltyard, and competitions will happen frequently, typically putting up locals against outsiders or outsiders vs their rivals. A popular entertainment, but it also gives the local knights a well renown skill at the joust.
Interestingly enough, at this spot on the Ouse there is no bridge, the delta is far too wide for it. As such, the name of the town has an unknown origin.

Demographics

Primarily humans. The two primary draws of the town are the temple of sevras, who are very racist, and the tourist trade catering to a few rich humans.

Government

Owned by the Temples of Sevras the Weaver, and run by them, through a local council. THis town specifically though is run under a lot of scrutiny.
