Mydya continued its invasion of Ikaros. However, this conquest proved to be more of a challenge for the Empire then its previous one. Ikarians used guerrilla tactics and their society was less urbanized/centered then their northern neighbours, making it difficult for Mydya to seize meaningful power in the region. More than that, Mydya's armies were dragged into this war without a rest after the Auzarian Conquest. They were not fully supplied, and the auzarian cities were not yet fully subjugated nor cooperative. Given time, Mydya did however succeed to establish its power in the southern peninsula (only on the western side, not on the Cursed Lands).
