After Madarys attacked South Maeqos, a popular revolt led by Amriel, a learned and charismatic priestess who claimed heritage from the Caelestis, tried to push back their invaders. Managing to kill some imperial generals, the rebellion was however quickly eradicated by Madarys himself.
