Zephyr Village
Zephyr is a small village located high in the tree tops of the black forest, home to a community of 80 air genasi. The village is only accessible by flight or by using levitation magic on a specific hollow tree that has a magical rune that creates an upward current of wind.
The air genasi have built their homes almost at the top of the trees, about 50 meters above the forest floor, making the village almost invisible due to the combination of height and the full cover of the tree tops.
The air genasi of Zephyr face challenges in finding food and water, and must venture down from their safe homes on a weekly basis to hunt and gather supplies from the forest floor. This is a risky task, as they must avoid attracting the attention of dangerous predators while also being aware of the highly aware animals they are hunting. To ensure their success, the air genasi have divided their hunting parties into specific roles: trackers locate the right animals to hunt and keep an eye out for signs of dangerous creatures; hunters kill and carry the animals back to the village; scouts act as the first line of defense, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings and giving the signal to run if necessary; herbalists search the forest floor for useful plants, food, and medicine; warriors take care of lesser dangers that are always present; and runners serve as a last resort in case of emergency, luring dangerous foes away from the group and somehow escaping without leading them back to the village.
Through cooperation and careful planning, the air genasi of Zephyr are able to gather enough food, water, and other supplies to sustain themselves on a weekly basis.
Other roles within the village are the leader of Zephyr (NAME) and the Shaman (NAME)
