Part 1 overall story arch
General Summary
Mad scientist Dr. Deform is trying to control the behavior of creatures when one of his test subjects accidentally escapes ending up in a body of water in the sewers and drowning.
This water the creature died in is coincidentally the same water used everywhere in the city but luckily the body was in a part of the system that only affected the plateu at the top of the city, which prevented a citywide dissaster. As the body floated in the water it poisoned the water bringing dangerous water to all the systems in the plateu like sinks, baths and fountains.
This was quickly realized as some dogs and a swarm of birds were drinking from the fountain and began attacking (PC Characters first combat)
After this while PCs get into the guild the army will do a bit of investigating and crisis management
When the PCs get into the guild the army will have figured out the problem is in the sewer and they will be sent to find whatever poisoned the water.
MINI DUNGEON IN THE SEWERS WITH PUZZLE Sewers of Velz
After exploration they need to find the key/pocket watch with the symbol of mortar and pestle.
the nobles Harborg has that Symbol as their family crest.
The son is the one doing business with Dr Hiller and is being threatened by someone to keep quiet and let Dr. Hiller work in peace and in secret.
The party needs to find these secret people threatening (INSERT NAME) so he will give them the pocket watch and let them into the door in the sewers
when they get in they will fight Dr. Hiller and find some important documents which shall be the end of chapter 1.
