Grimstborith

Grimstborith (plural Grimstborithn) is the title of the clan chief of one of the thirteen dwarven clans. i.e Grimstborith Gannal.
The leader of a clan is chosen when their predecessor dies. It is typically the heir who is chosen but their is time for the families of the clan to debate and decide if someone else would be better. A candidate for the position must have a majority of the families agree to the appointment before the mater can be decided. It is after all, a lifetime appointment.
