Nordeath Tandeer

Nordeath Tandoor's Father was a powerful Warlock and when receiving the boons of his Demonic patron had promised his first born to the entity. Nordeath had been raised his whole life as an acolyte of this demon learning the ways of pact magic and ritual bonding. His mother had been cast out from his father's Coven when Nordeath was 10 and he thought he'd never see her again. However, some time before his appointed time of sacrifice she sneaked back into his home and confessed to him what was to be his fate. Nordeath was distrustful of his mother due to his father's poisonous words about her so he chose not to believe and instead called his father to confront her. Nordeath assumed his father would just send her away but instead he watched his father kill his mother. With that violence in his mind Nordeath began investigating the ritual he was to be part of and discovered his mother had been telling the truth. To avoid his fate he called upon the knowledge he had learned and formed a pact of his own with The Archdevil Glasya, daughter of Asmodius himself. Nordeth, however was smart enough not tot bond with this otherworldly entity, he simply bargained for knowledge and power becoming a forceful demonic wizard. This bargain gave him the power to escape his planed sacrifice however the demon lord whom Nordeth had been promised to sought Tandeer blood. With Nordeath unavailable the deamon claimed the blood of Nordeaths father, killing him. In this way Nordeath had now witnessed the violent deaths of both of his parents before his eyes within days of each other. Following his ordeal Nordeath traveled the world seeking others like himself who had made pacts with evil powers. He made it his mission to end these pacts one way or another. If he could not free them or they did not wish to give up their patron, Nordeath would kill them to keep their contracts from being fulfilled. Many pacts were of devilish not demonic origin and for a time Glasya was content to allow her champion some leeway however once her father learned a bargain she had made was causing losses for the 9 hells he demanded a stop be put to it. Glasya tried to remove her power from Nordeath but his actions though murderous and despicable had gained him some protection from the heights of Ysgard. So instead she sent one of her lesser followers to inform the blood hunters of Nordeaths trail of mass murder. The blood hunters tracked him down and upon discovering his devil born powers banished him to hell. Glasya was ready for Nordeaths arrival and had planned a reunion for him. She had "rescued" his father's demonic soul from the abyss and when Nordeath arrived in her domain, a living being banished to the nine hells, she put them in a room together. As expected, Nordeaths father delivered a killing blow but not before Nordeath destroyed his fathers spirit. Glasya was prepared to receive her new slave as written in her soul contract with Nordeth but Kelemvor found Glasya in breach since she facilitated Nordeth's death, The contract specifically forbade her involvement in his demise lest the contract be broken. Nordeth however had killed hundreds of people many of whom would have exited their tempestuous agreements without blighting their souls. His unwavering lack of nuance caused Kelemvor to condemn his should to the Nine Hells anyway, but despite finding Nordeath to be deserving of Hellish torment , Kelemvor judged him to be too valuable an asset to become a mere Lemure. Nordeath was instead given station as one of the Lower Planes' Tormentors, He became the vengeance of the Betrayed. His purview was to punish those who sinned against their families.
