Hammer Fall
13th of Mercendur- Hammer Fall is the feast day of Moradin the chief god the pantheon of artisans. This day is to celebrate laborers and their works. Blacksmiths and crafts people create great works of art or examples of their skills to raise up to Moradin as thanks for their talent. Tradition dictates that no person be compelled to work on Hammer Fall, the day is a day of freedom from the work and a gift from Moradin to spend on your own interests. Celebrations often include a grand fair in town squares where artisans bring their wares to be shared with the communities. Nobles and other members of higher society often prepare meals for the various laborers and artisans in and around their employ, culminating in a blended celebration of high born and low born.
