In this section here we will talk about the various shops around Makulu.
Cainech (Cain-ech) Winery: Fancy Wood Elf wines from the Bowen forests, sold for 2.5 gold per liter , they do have a 100 gold bottle set that is incredibly fancy, the players have been allowed to purchase this for their speakeasy as long as their speakeasy holds up to the standards of the Cainech Family (basically they are going to be inspected every so often by a Wood Elf). 80 gold per bottle hyper fancy brandy Makulu
The Singers Sin: The Casksinger clan of Dwarfs from Azum Magrekt, having moved to Makulu after being in the Kringbert Duchy during the war between the Torriq and the Aristocracy.
They sell fine Dwarfish Ale and Dwarfish Firewater, the ale sells for .27 gold per liter, the firewater sells for .35 gold per liter, but they have to finish a bottle of whatever they buy with them, as is such in dwarfish drinking culture, deals are shared with spit and liquor. (They both drink straight from the same bottle).
La-La's Luminous Lights: Run by a human enchantress (Lavala Myren cute as a fucking button tomboy) who specializes in interior design and lighting. Very Art Deco and Art Nouveux.
The Plucked Hen: Run by Miss Vira (Halfling Woman French Accent) A place to buy general beer by the keg for .18 gold per liter, NO STUDENT DISCOUNTS! Also a traditional styled pub.
Dramboie Man: Dramboie man (Jacob Flanagan) is an almost mythical figure, expect not really, he's just a local legend "Cool dude" who makes fantastic alcohols, with bee hives he has out in the Fargreen Fields snuggled right up to the Bowen forests where the Mallorn Trees there create a really unique honey flavor and such, basically an alcoholic food truck. As a human with a wood elven wife, he's accepted by the elvish population but also the elves of the Bowen woods are frustrated with him, partially for "Stealing their idea" which they never had in the first place and because he's overstepped his bounds by marrying a elf.
More frustration put on her for marrying a may-fly that will only bring her tragedy but people don't talk too much smack because he's nice. He's in an awkward space of "Look man you are chill but your wife will outlive you by hundreds of years and by marrying her you've doomed her to a hundred years of depression when you inevitably die". Oh his name is Jacob Flanagan, suntanned skin, cheery demeanor brown eyes and hair, around 24 years old. He's got it rough.
His Dramboie costs around 2 gold per liter he also makes a honey liquor that costs about 50 gold per bottle. He's not cheap.
Tinies Big Whiskey: A distillery run by Goblins and Kobolds, the unlikely power couples Goblin couple Slert (male) and Fixen Tiny(Female) and counterparts Khozos (Male) and Zez Coldripper(Female). Khozos and Zez are the engineers of the operation making all the alcohol while the goblins Slert and Fixen work the frontend and the finances. They both went through hell to make what can be called the best whiskey in the Aristocracy. 1.0 per liter of whiskey 60 gold for a keg single batch whiskey.
Workin' Gins Tailors, Sailors and Distillers: Gin made for the working man! Run by a Warforged (Dilbert Grand) who was made with the purpose to make the best damn gin in the world and by god does he got it. .8 gold per liter.
