Aristocratic Navy and Air Navy
The Aristocratic Navy and Air Navy are the biggest thing the Aristocracy has in their arsenal.
The coup de grace on any major conflict in the past has been an overwhelming navy and logistics network that allows for continued assaults. The most famous navy officers having come from the Aristocracies past as well.
There are 3 kinds of ships basically each with their own classifications, this is just to make things more simple for me and my players. They are broken into Assault Ships, Logistics Ships, and Transport Ships.
Air Navy Transport Ships Armaments and Design:
Air Navy Flagship: to be called the Eleventh Hour (currently being created set to set sail in 1517)
- Assault ships are the bread and butter of any fighting, they are what you would use to bombard areas or attack enemy navies.
- Logistics ships are the large transport ships, they are made for moving supplies or goods, not necessarily people but the equipment and food they will need to continue assaults and combat.
- Transport ships are the ships that you use for beach landings after bombardment, they aren't made to stick around but they can jolly well do a good one two to make sure the infantry on them can do their job well.
- The Cutlass Class ships are made for short range bombardment on targets, basically to hover over an area like an AC130 and obliterate whats below, having 3 152mm howitzers on the bottom with auto-loading functionality,
- ~96mm of armor on the ship.
- The gun deck has 7 88mm guns on each side of the of the 280ft long ship.
- Interlaced with machine gun nests. about half of which and 21mm autocannons. the top deck has machine gun emplacements and 21mm guns to use as flak cannons.
- The Sabre Class ships are made as run of the mill multiuse ships, they are good in fights and tend to have the most guns in general on them.
- 3 twin linked 88mm auto-loaded cannons on the bottom side for continued bombardment.
- Interlaced with machine gun nests. about half of which and 21mm autocannons. the top deck has machine gun emplacements and 21mm guns to use as flak cannons.
Air Navy Transport Ships Armaments and Design:
- Air Navy transport ships are made basically just to tank some decent hits and clear a "Beachhead" as it were. 96mm of armor is pretty standard for these ships too but their armament is much less.
- 2 front facing 88mm guns, 2 21mm autocannons on the front, 5 88mm guns along the 250ft long gun deck some machine guns on each side. 4 bottom 88 mm guns with HE shells, none of these guns are auto-loading.
Air Navy Flagship: to be called the Eleventh Hour (currently being created set to set sail in 1517)
- 3 twin linked 100mm sponson turrets on the top and bottom, most guns are autoloading 4 twin linked 100mm guns on each side of the 380ft long dreadnought.
- Bottom deck is made to be able to land on land but is far to heavy for water lands *ITD SINK*
- Covered in machine guns and 21mm Airburst autocannons
- The prized jewel of the Aristocracy.
