Eye of Nuabu

Manufacturing process

The process is kept between two copies. The first is in the mind and personal diary of Nuabu, and the second is restricted to the highest tiers of leadership within the Moonlight Ravens.

History

During the final battle of Cas Obmika's life, the necromancer pierced the right eye of Nuabu. after the battle, the eye was collected & preserved for three years. As Nuabu recovered, he chose to take the eye into recovering and use it to better influence & protect his city-state. The eye has surveyed and been in use as a powerful scrying orb for millenniums.

The orb has never truly left the control of Nuabu. At times, he has chosen to loan it to the Moonlight Ravens if their need of observing some phenomena from a safe distance or a long distanced object was the issue.

Some sailors have reported to see the eye swishing around in the sky as it approached ships in patterns reminescent of the constellations in the night sky.

Significance

The Eye of Nuabu is significant specifically for the City-State of Drosa. The obvious importance to it's owner, Nuabu, is due to it being one of his eyes. The more economical & important reason is that the eye flies over the Rimt Sea. As it shines it begins providing guidance to ships through day & night for sailors while providing information of for the City-State to appropriately prepare for what may come.

Raw materials & Components
Materials used in the construction Eye of Nuabu came to some main ingredients; Nuabu's damaged eye, a gem from the staff of the fallen Cas Obmika, and the use of three arcane foci of powerful mages of the Moonlight Ravens. The gem was the material consumed for the enchanting, pairing, and empowering of the eye. The eye itself became the magical artifact.
