Ghost
Ghost is a rather general term for spirits crossing between the Realm Ethereal and the Realm Physica, between the spiritual world and the physical. There are many varying degrees of ghost, from the mildly intrusive to the relentlessly malevolent. Some ghosts don't even know they're dead. They might walk down a hall, or open a door, or descend the stairs, oblivious to observers. Others might be drawn to the reverberations of a heartbeat.
Whatever the degree of ghost present, certain attributes can always be present in spirits of any form.

Spiritas Minoris, or lesser ghosts, can, at most, cause fear and panic, or have minor phyiscal interaction such as dragging and shoving. Darker spirits with more awareness can cause physical harm, near-frostbiting anything they touch and focus on. The even darker spirits can drain the soul as well as the life out of a person, aging them decades with a touch and causing rapid mental decay.
Silver can harm lesser ghosts, but magica enhanced weapons are the only thing that will harm greater spirits.
