Akna

Once apon a time there were two balance gods, whose name change depending on those who ask. Negative and Positive live in a dance of balance. Once, before time itself, the two lay eggs. Out of Positive Hatched Mother, Matter, or Akna, out of Negatives hatched Void. The two created the universe and several gods with it, and eventually had an egg together. Void wanted to detroy it, so in an attempt to protect her child, Mother curled up around her egg, creating the land we inhabit. The world of Akna is a world of all kinds of creatures, who mostly inhabit the sea. Unlike most dungeons and dragons settings, many races can and do live anywhere in the world. There are goblins in high elf society, and elves deep in the jungles of goblin territory. While there is the highest concentration and rare species in one area, most can live anywhere. Outside the lands of ice, Akna has only about 3-4 continents, each about the size or smaller than australia. The world is almost entirely oceans and islands, filled with civilizations and cultures of all kinds. From the dragons to the large patheons, they all share a similar belief in the gods, but each believes the stories differently.
