GAARD

Establised during the War of Undeath, GAARD sought to protect Akkadia and eliminate the undead menace. They succeeded.
The name GAARD is an acronym, with each letter standing for the names of its founding members: Godeline, Aeowyn, AEnwyn, Rakust, and Davor.
Their headquarters was established in the old Silverheart Manor, after the members of GAARD (seemingly) cleared it of incorporeal threats.
Decades after the War of Undeath ended, some of the members of GAARD went their own ways, leaving Davor, Rakust, and AEnwyn to re-brand the group as the Akkadian Defenders.

Disbandment

As the War of Undeath passed further and further into history, GAARD's duties as protectors became less relavent, and the group transformed into the Akkadian Defenders.
