Physical Description

Body Features

Zinmair is often depicted as a massive, muscular demon with horns, wings, and a tail. He wields a fiery sword and is often surrounded by flames. Those who have encountered Zinmair have described him as ruthless, cruel, and unforgiving.   Zinmair never showed himself except through avatars or project image, both in humanoid forms. Zinmair is often depicted as a massive, muscular demon with horns, wings, and a tail. He wields a fiery sword and is often surrounded by flames. Overall, he had charismatic and beautiful looks that captivated people. He always had a perfectly braided beard and wore very expensive armor, which were valuable enough to cover the annual national spending of any nation. However, underneath these expensive garments, the body was wracked with bleeding injuries. While he was in pain, he managed to give the impression of someone unconcerned with the pain the injuries caused him. He could manifest ten avatars at once if needed, allowing him to station one on each layer of Ekadell if he needed to, with a tenth leftover for managing extraplanar duties.

Special abilities

Zinmiar was a Paragon who was older than the concept of faith. He had no ability to grant spells to his followers, but mortals could gain spells from him by becoming a disciple of darkness. This agreement meant that he could take the mortal's life at any time if he was not appeased with sacrifices. The mortal did not need to meet any strictures and could cast divine magic. Zinmiar could create up to ten avatars, but could only send one at a time to the Prime Material plane. This made it difficult for him to be seen on the Prime, so he preferred to work through other people. He also had various magical abilities, including the ability to cast animate dead, blasphemy, and charm monster. He had absolute control over the Nine Hells of Ekadell and could change the landscape of any layer in any way he wanted.   During the War of Nightmares however, a warrior by the name of Norag trapped him within Ekadell for all eternity, ensuring that his being could not ever leave the Plane and set foot within Akeroth.

Personal history

Zinmaer is a powerful Paragon who has been around for millennia. Despite his fearsome appearance, Zinmaer is known for his cunning and intelligence, and is often called upon by other demons to assist in their plans and schemes.   In ancient times, Zinmaer was worshipped as a god by many cultures, and he revelled in the fear and reverence that people had for him. As the time passed, however, people began to turn away from the worship of demons, and Zinmaer's influence waned.   For many years, Zinmaer retreated to the shadows, biding his time and waiting for the opportunity to regain his former power. He spent his time studying the ways of magic and forging alliances with other demons, building a vast network of followers and allies.   Eventually, Zinmaer emerged from the shadows once again, determined to reclaim his place as a feared and respected demon. He began to use his powers to manipulate events and influence people, working tirelessly to rebuild his empire culminating in his battle on Akeroth known as the Crisis of Control and the War of Nightmares.   Despite his many attempts, however, Zinmaer has never been able to fully regain the power and influence that he once had. Still, he remains a powerful and feared demon, and many people still fear his wrath.
