Personal history

Ormurinn was born to the Goddess Mordred and the god Ius, along with his siblings, the wolf Hal-Yun and the nightmare Mhorra. From a young age, Ormurinn was known for his immense size and strength.   Despite being siblings, Ormurinn and his brother Mhorra had a strained relationship. Mhorra was a fierce and powerful creature, with tentacles and wings that gave him the appearance of a giant, flying monster. Ormurinn saw him as a rival and a threat, and the two often clashed in battle.   One of the most famous battles between Ormurinn and Mhorra took place in the depths of the ocean, where they fought for control of the seas. Ormurinn, being a serpent, had the advantage of agility and speed, while Mhorra relied on his brute strength and tentacles to fight. The battle raged on for days, with neither side gaining the upper hand.   In the end, it was Ormurinn who emerged victorious, thanks to his cunning and quick thinking. He was able to lure Mhorra into a trap, using his shape-shifting ability to take on the form of a beautiful mermaid. Mhorra, entranced by the mermaid's charms, was caught off guard and defeated by Ormurinn.   Despite the victory, the battle between Ormurinn and Mhorra was far from over. The two would continue to clash in the years that followed, each determined to emerge as the ultimate ruler of the seas. Their battles would come to an end when Sifor ruled that Ormurinn would keep guard of the Sealed Mindflayers within the Vortex and ensure that they do not ever reach Akeroth again.   Out of Ormurinn's control however, a surge of magic would be released when the Great Tree, Heimstré, was restored and The Vortex begun heading back towards Akeroth.
