Session 1: Pit Stop in Greenest Report

General Summary

As the caravan neared Greenest, they discovered that Greenest was in flames! Soaring over the town was what appeared to be a dragon, shooting white-blue staticky breath out every so often. Seeing that the dragon was intent on the town (and not on the roads), the party decided to approach Greenest for a closer look.
Many of the houses were in flames. The party had only gone a couple houses in when a family of four burst out of the houses nearby and sprinted across their path, fleeing from eight kobolds. The party swiftly moved to intervene, with Uthal creating the largest and noisiest distraction.
After a quick, 3-round battle, the party took out all but two of the kobolds. One, after seeing Uthal split the skull of one of his comrades, decided discretion was the better part of valor and fled. The last kobold, after realizing that he was quite alone, quickly dropped his weapons and begged for mercy.
Uthal tied him up while Nutmeg went to go check on the family (who introduced themselves as Cuth and Linan Swift). Uthal swapped with Nutmeg and the Swifts while Jawn interrogated the kobold prisoner.
Important Info:

• The blue dragon is helping the kobolds raid the town for "shinies."
• The "shinies" are NOT going to the dragon, however.
• There are many other kobolds in the town.
• The kobold's name is Klarl.

In the meantime, Cuth asked Uthal if the party would be willing to escort him and his family to the Keep, which is the safest place in town. Uthal agreed.
After a little debate, the party released Klarl with a dire warning, and sent him scampering (dizzily) off. They then turned their sights on the Keep, following directions from Cuth.

The party meets the Swift family - Cuth, Linan, and their two children. One of the kobolds got a name (Klarl), upgrading him from "nameless extra" status to "named NPC" status.
