Session 11: The Rematch Report

General Summary

The party decided to stop trying to lure kobolds out of the room, and charged in to fight. There were more than they expected, but they still defeated their foes.
At that point, the party decided to rest, and put up a barricade of the straw beds at the entrance of the room, and took a long rest. Uthal made a healer's kit for Nutmeg.
Afterwards, Nutmeg scouted ahead down the next tunnel, and accidentally got noticed by someone in the room. She raced back up to report to her party members about "polished monsters" and "hot and humid air." Her party hurried into the passage to intervene between her and any pursuers, but the one human they saw just said "My lord! Enemies approach." before retreating out of sight.
The party came down and found Langdedrosa Cyanwrath waiting for them. He applauded Uthal's survival, and asked if he was here for a rematch. Uthal agreed, and the two squared off. After several misses and fumbles, Uthal finally got first blood, but then Cyanwrath smoked him with lightning and got several massive hits -including a critical- in and defeated him. Cyanwrath warned the party to leave, and let them take Uthal's body with them (he seemed to think Uthal was dead, while the party was convinced he was still alive).
Nutmeg healed Uthal's wounds, stabilizing him and rousing him to consciousness. He's ready to go for another round.
