The Gorefang
Introduction
The Gorefang is a gnoll clan based in the Brask Lands. This clan is made up of only gnolls, and they are best known for their champions, or Goreclaws, of whom there are but a select few. The clan was established as an ofshoot of a larger gnoll clan in western Sundermark, but they quickly relocated to the Brask Lands, and left their past clan behind. Since their arrival in the Brask Lands, sometime in the middle of the 13th century AR, The Gorefang has become an oppressive force for many tribes of orcs and goblnoids. The land has on some level been settled by orcs and goblnoids in the last few centuries. The Gorefang is however a newer threat, and one with no intentions to settle and live of the land. They seek to plunder, destroy, and conquer. They are feared by most in the Brask Lands for their extreme brutality. Most who live there do what they can to negotiate with the gnolls, despite the fact that they are well known to break truces and agreements. Many orc tribes exchange many of their own soldiers for relative peace. This means that The Gorefang typically travels with a decent amount of orc soldiers, or civilians. These orcs are usually used for protecting flanks, or guarding locations. Sometimes, The Gorefang temporarily leaves a gnoll in charge of a location, with command over a group of orcs.

Structure
Clan Leadership
The Gorefang is divided into three different parts, or tribes as they are sometimes called. They are mostly similar, with each one having a few of their own traits which sets them apart. Each tribe is led by a Goreclaw, or a Champion of The Gorefang. A Goreclaw is allowed challange their peers for the title of The Gorefang, or in other words, leadership of all three tribes. This challange is to the death, as all challanges in the clan, and if one Goreclaw can defeat the other two, they may claim the title of The Gorefang. The Gorefang has power over all the other gnolls, and when a Gorefang is declared, all the tribes are gathered, and begin to act as one. During the periods when a Gorefang rules, this faction is far more dangerous, and can often try to conquer more powerful targets, like actual cities or lordships. When there is no Gorefang who leads the clan, the three tribes operate independantly, however, there are agreements in place to avoid conflict between the three tribes. Each tribe typically lays claim to the bounty of a certain area or region, and then they pillage said region until there is nothing left to take. Tribe Hierarchy
Within each seperate tribe, there is typically a few key figures, these roles are as follows:

Within each seperate tribe, there is typically a few key figures, these roles are as follows:
- First priest of Yeenoghu; A priest like figure of the tribe, responsible for reading the signs and omens, and leading the sacrificial rites held by the tribe. These priests have been steadily losing their influence over the last few years, as more and more gnolls turn away from Yeenoghu, believing themselves to be above worship of such a distant figure.
- The Gorebiter; This is the second in command of the tribe. They are also the ones who will come to inherit the title of Goreclaw when the former Goreclaw of a tribe dies.
- The Meatmaster; The gnoll responible for keeping track of all slaves and prisoners captured in their raids. The Meatmaster must keep track of them, and in the rare case of a ransom, they will be charged with making sure said ransom goes down well.
- The Goreclaw; This is the leader of the tribe. This gnoll is one of three in the whole clan, and they might one day come to command all of the clan.
Culture
The gnolls of The Gorefang are best known for their bloodthirst and hunger for glory. Though these traits are common for most gnolls in Sundermark, The Gorefang take these ideals, especially their hunger for glory, to the next level. The Gorefang has always sought out those most brutal and hungry for power. They promote challanges against one another, and see it as a great dishonour to ever live through a defeat; you are expected to fight till death, or victory.
Religion
Most gnolls are deeply religious, worshipping Yeenoghu with all their thoughts and intentions, but not The Gorefangs. The Gorefangs was formed from those who cared little for what yeenoghu, The Lord of Savagery, wanted, and more so for the thrill and glory of battle. Those who formed The Gorefang were the most brutal in the clan they originated from, and they have continued to foster this savagery amongst their ranks.

Assets
Troops
There is a surpisingly small amount of gnolls that The Gorefang commands. In total there is about a thousand gnolls part of the clan. Though they are few, these gnolls are mighty. In regards to statblocks, most are either gnoll-warrior or gnoll flesh gnawer. There's roughly a 50/50 split between the two statblocks, with Goreclaws, Meatmasters, First priests of Yeenoghu, and The Gorefang all being far more powerful. Beyond their gnollish soldiers, which makes up the core of the clan, there are also the clan's orchish auxiliaries. These auxiliaries come in a few different shapes and forms. Typically, they mostly consist of poorly trained orcish infantry, and these soldiers are little more than rabble, employed at the mercy of the clan when they don't feel like, or have the means to, send in proper Gore-Seekers. However, there is a small subset of these auxiliaries which is made up of more elite orcs, sent as tribute in order to appease The Goreclaws, or even The Gorefang himself.
