Sky Stalkers

“The gods have always embraced the duality of man, my child, they accepts us wholly as we must accept them wholly.”   ”That seems like an excuse, a way to explain the bad people in the world. To show that we are all different.”   ”No, it shows we are together. Take the Sky Stalkers one half light one half dark. One head deer one head wolf. One will always long to stay and fight to take down those who wrong it. One will always long to run to find its peace away from the harm. Both long to use their wings to fly in the sky close to the gods, they will always be in the sky together. None of the rest matters in the harmony of the sky.   When we accept the duality that is in everyone, including the gods, we will find the harmony the sky tries to teach us.”

Basic Information

Anatomy

The sky stalkers are a four legged creature with both the head of a deer and the head of a wolf. One antler protruding from both heads and wolf paws on all four legs, and the fur and tail of a deer. One side (typically the deer side) glows with a soft warm light with dark eyes while the other side (typically the wolf side) is dark with only its eyes glowing. Both sides have a wing used to fly far into the sky and look down from above.

Ecology and Habitats

Seeing a sky stalker is rare so not much is known about its habitats the few that have been studies have been found in forests and the sky above

Dietary Needs and Habits

The sky stalkers fly above as the wolf side stalks its prey from above and the deer side tends to hover slightly above the trees eating the leaves from higher up.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

In several observations it appears that the light side of a sky stalker will close its eyes during the night and rely on the dark side to navigate and while the dark side will keep its eyes open during the day it appears to have trouble seeing still needing to rely on the light side for navigation.
