The Valley of Dreams
A valley in the country of Knaeva, only a couple dozen miles from Earthelm, The Valley of Dreams is a strange place, though not always known as a place of evil of malice. It is strange that the area has such a mixed consensus when those that have travelled through it, which is most of Earthelm's populous, along with traders and merchants that make stops to the city, especially when there have been very few casualties in the area.
The strange events of the Valley have led to become somewhat of a tourist destination, given its singular, defining trait. The occurrence of dreams. No-one quite knows why dreams such as these happen in the Valley, and why the dreams are as vivid as the ones that occur here. Some have even cited the place as an conduit for divine messages, with them saying that their patron gods have spoken to them in dreams here, though there is no evidence for this.
What is known about the area is that there is a near constant mist that permeates over it, masking much of the area's natural beauty. The ground itself is lower than the rest of Knaeva, causing the cliffs at the edges of the valley to be only slightly higher than the plains that are common throughout the rest of the country.
Ecosystem
Not much lives in the valley of dreams, with it more so being populated with birds that perch upon the high lands of the area, either say from predators of searching for easy prey. Many animals avoid the area because of the perpetual mist, and only really going through it if absolutely necessary.
The plant life isn't much different from the rest of Knaeva, being made up of grass, daisies and some smaller bits of shrubbery. Said plant life is not as abundant, nor as vibrant as other parts of the country, largely, in part, due to the blocking of light from the mist. The mist itself also covers much of the plant life, meaning that it is not easily identified, causing much of the area to look like an entirely part of the world entirely.
