What is known about The Oracle
The Oracle speaks little of her past, choosing to speak of the present or future instead. She does the same with both her compatriots revealing as little as possible, as you would expect from mystical types. Her reasoning for this is her immortality, finding it unnecessary to tell such unbelievable truths to mortals who won't even make it to a small fraction of her lifespan. Much like
The Guardian and
The Sovereign, she often states that she was once a member of
The Obsidian Council, obscuring her name due to believing that it no longer has meaning for her.
The Oracle appeared before
Lord Urill-ith after
The Divine Exodus, alongside her companions, aiding in the extermination of the undead that had appeared in the area. Ever since garnering some attention at the
Kingdom of Salardia, The Oracle has been sought after by mortals all around the world, hoping that she would reveal to them their futures, or even tell them of fated catastrophes. Her knowledge of these catastrophes grew in prominence, explaining how
The Triumvirate have managed to prevent many of said catastrophes.
Theories Surrounding The Oracle
Given that The Oracle is clearly of elven descent, many have theorised that she is, in some way, related to
Nimue, the First of the Fey. This could mean that she is a demi-god, like other members of
The Obsidian Council or that she is somehow linked to some of the archfey. Either or would explain both her mystic powers and foresight, as well as her placement on The Council. Some even believe that she uses druidic practices along with her arcane knowledge, leading a few, more radical theorists to believe that she is actually the daughter of
Saol, the First Mortal, technically making her the first mortal woman.
