Artisan's Paste

A dark, viscous fluid made from tar and titanwood sap which used as an adhesive by masons, shipwrights, carpenters, and other craftsmen. Artisan's paste can be used in its base form to provide a flexible, watertight bond for stone, wood, or glass or mixed with other additives to alter hardness and type of bond when the product has dried. The variations range from a gummy substance used for temporary items such as posters to ridgid, permanent bonds necessary for replacing mortar in seawalls and jettys.
