Tobari, The Crimson Cunning
Tobari, known across Amoxis as The Crimson Cunning, is the elusive and ever-adaptable Animal Lord of Foxes. Embodying wit, transformation, and subversive wisdom, Tobari is a deity of quiet chaos — a mischief-maker who walks the line between benevolent trickster and patient manipulator. He is revered not for brute strength or divine might, but for cleverness, subtlety, and his ability to rewrite the rules of a game without anyone realizing.
Tobari can take on many forms but most often appears as either a Vulpin, a tall, elegant fox-beastfolk with a silken voice and glimmering red eyes, or a Kitsune, a many-tailed fox spirit with fur that flickers like firelight and the ability to change shape at will. He created both races as reflections of his duality — the Vulpin as proud, grounded beastfolk with a penchant for diplomacy and artifice; and the Kitsune as ethereal, magical tricksters tied deeply to fey magic and illusion.
