Shuhkthi

Shuhkthi is the greatest pit in the bloody field of Gehenna, battleground of The Abyss.
Formed around the fallen Colossus Marahn, the Shattered Gleaming, the Spawning Pool is a turbulent pool of unformed matter, which lies at the heart of the great war camp of the demons. Hulking war machines, armies of lesser demons and mighty demonic champions defend the pool, and launch raids against the territory held by the devils of the Bladed Circle, or to dredge evil souls from the Styx before they can rise as lemures. Captives - be they souls, living mortals or devils - are brought to the pool and cast in. The pool continuously vomits forth minor demons to fill the ranks of the war camp, but when fed with captives can churn out more powerful entities to join the Deep War.
While all Pits spawn demons, the pool of Shuhkthi is by far the most fecund, feeding the gruesome hunger of the demonic war machine.
For many centuries, Shuhkthi has been the domain of Rahgn, the Demon Jackal, and many of the manes and other petty demons produced by the pool are either consumed by or shaped into his leucrotta.
