Fourth Picket

The Fourth Picket of the Corridor is a burgeoning township, with guards manning the walls constantly. There are usually a couple of caravans camped there, and a small-scale operation has grown up around an original pop-up tavern and armourer, with a shrine, forge and ramshackle tavern.
This used to be a normal White Barrens picket, and is still built around the typical layout of an open ground inside a high perimeter fence. Noting the high levels of traffic, most notably between Darkstadt and Whitewatch, Bran and Grif Barringer - a human verteran and his half-orc husband - established a tavern from the back of a cart about three years ago. They became the leaders of a growing community, and their tavern - the Barrel Wagon - is the central building of the town. Bran was a deltor and is currently a lay-priest of Tanit and pastor of the Fourth Picket shrine.
The blacksmith, Orin Sparkhammer (dwarf) is also a veteran deltor. Eir forge is the only stone building in the community. Jaina Thunderhand is the notional leader of the town watch, a goliath veteran.
The total population of the picket is only about thirty.
