Dreihaus
Dreihaus is the central city of Ardheim. Nestled in the fork where the Ainwash and Ainwater join to form the Ainflood, it is built around three towers: the spire of the Great Temple, the watchtower of the docks, and the burned out ruins of the Empty Tower, a relict of the God-Queen’s realm. It is a new city, a thriving trade hub, and the centre of the Grey Country, the central region of the province.
The southern edge of the city is the small docks, where barges unload stone from the mountains and load food and other supplies from downriver. Downriver trade is conducted through the great dock, which lies along the shore of the lagoon, a deep pool formed by the damming of the river east of the city. The northern edge of the city is dominated by the river wall, a stone bulwark against the horrors of the White Barrens, although the city strives constantly to project its authority into the settlements of the Corridor.
