Ra

Priomcead of Het Kah, The Sun God

Ruling over Het Kah from within the Crystal Pyramid in Thios, Ra is an enigma even among his peers. As leader of Clan Heka, Ra has built Thios into a muticultural hub of acceptance, forgiveness, and peace. It is the only world among all the remaining clans where all are welcome.

Aside from his peacable rulership, Ra himself is a mystery. He is never seen in public without wearing a painted mask depicting the sun upon his forehead. None have seen his face since before the Hayotiam. Speculation abounds, but the prevailing theory is that the events on Illidian permanantly scarred the Sun God's face.

Let the others fight their petty wars. Thios battles for its very survival.
— Ra, on the possibility of a second civil war

Physical Description

Apparel & Accessories

Ra is always seen wearing his mask. Almost always accompanying the mast are robes or wrappings which tend to cover all of his skin. It is believed that he was badly scarred in the explosion that destroyed Illidian, although to a lesser degree than the Machine Gods of Clan Kamhi.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Before the Hayotiam, Ra was rahter conservative among Illidians. He felt the old ways were the correct ways, and refused to use devices which produced Noz Cohayim. This found him friendship with the leader of Clan Ifra, Heylel.

Following the devestation of their homeworld, Ra quickly changed his belief. No longer did he kill his Bin Tamabd, but instead embraced Tyr's technology.

Education

Ra's father was Amun, who ruled over Clan Heka before his son. His father too was a friend and ally of Heylel, and equal parts conservative and harsh. Ra was taught many hard lessons, which he seems to have disreguarded since settling in Thios.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Ra's greated achievment is the city of Thios on Het Kah. It is a marvel of technology rising on the shores of a crystal blue sea in what can only be descrbed as paradise. His people want for nothing and live peaceful lives mostly devoid of divine intervention.

Failures & Embarrassments

During the Ethereal Wars, Ra was forced to side with Heylel in the disagreement between he and An. When sides were drawn, Ra felt dutybound to stand beside his old ally. Following the war, hoever, Ra would privately admit to his own clan that he had given Clan Ifra their support reluctantly, and the war had cost far too many Illidian lives. To this day, Ra holds onto the guilt that if he had not allowed his father's legacy to decide Heka's allies, maybe fewer lives would have been lost.
