Scáth are those descended from beings who appeared in this plane from a World Without Light. They are known for being able to blend in with shadows and resistant to curses. Scáth tend to vary wildly in their morality, but most have a bend towards law and order.

Racial Features

Shadow Meld- While in an area without light, or while you are in magical darkness, your form blends in with the darkness around you. Increase your AC by half of Dexterity mod (min 1), but only for attacks that singularly target you. AOE attacks do not count. Dim light will increase your AC by 1/4th your Dexterity mod (min 0). This is a supernatural ability.
Shadow Physiology Your body has within its very make up the shadow of a World Without Light. Given this you have dark vision to 60ft and have sunlight sensitivity. If you take Radiant damage while in a location where sunlight sensitivity is active increase that Radiant damage by half rounded down (min 0).
Curse Scared Spirit- Your blood carries with it so much shadow from a World Without Light that it has strengthen your soul against harmful magics. You have Advantage on Saving Throws vs spells and effects which carry the Curse tag. This is a supernatural ability.
