The people of Jardeaune are typically lizardfolk and other such creatures that like the warmer climate offered in Jardeaune. Jardeaune's primary icon of worship is Sarenrae The Everlight, the worship of which helped their culture shake the evil grasp of Zehir The Cloaked Serpent.
Seeking to rebuild their civilisation and its trust after the unrest caused by Zehir's followers, it is now the subject of a crusade and war over an artifact that the Eldarian's believe to be in the possession of the Jardeaune.
