Beom (Bay-om)

Beom is a place of diversity, welcoming those from all over the world into their hub of cultural expressions. The people of Beom are free to worship any of the Prime Deities, but the majority of its people, or at least the ones who's heratige dates back centuries in Beom, worship Avandra The Changebringer. Following her tenets they welcome allow free travel and trade, thriving on the abundant resources brought in from all those to travel there, traders or adventures alike.
Due to the crusade and war against Jardeaune at the hands of the Eldarians, their relationship with the Eldarians, which was once strong, is deteriorating as the people of Beom hear more about the wartorn kingdom of Arnthu'ul from the steady stream of refugees fleeing the conflict.
The people of Beom are beginning to feel the pressure due the influx of refugees making work more scarce in addition to putting strain on law enforcement and other such official systems as the governing members of Beom struggle to keep up with the seemingly endless flock of new passers through.
Those who are more pious towards Avandra The Changebringer believe that the government of Beom should intervene with the crusade against the Jardeaune as it is taught by The Change Bringer that you should "Rise up against tyranny. Fight for the freedom of yourself and others when you can, and inspire others to fight when you cannot."
