Until the Dragon Rule was coming to its end, it was believed by the Stone Races that other continents were separate realms, which the dragon - with their infinite power - could travel to with ease. The Stone races believed that the only way they themselves could access these other continents was through the roads mined out by the dwarves. When all the dragons were conquered, and the Stoneborn were free to explore their homelands and the oceans. They were flummoxed and humoured to discover the stoneborn they had met in secret with when they crossed the seas.
