Treasuring Locket

A silver necklace with a ruby gold locket at the end of the chain.   wondrous item (necklace), artefact (requires attunement)   Speaker's Mark. You gain one unique property.   Sage's Speaker. Your proficiency bonus increases by 1 (up to a maximum of 7). You have disadvantage on saving throws whilst in possession of another Opus of the Sages. When you attempt to attune to another Opus of the Sages, you automatically fail and take 33 (5d12) psychic damage.   Immortalise Soul. At the start of each dawn, you can select a beast or humanoid that you are familiar with and know the true name of. Their visage appears in the the frame of the locket and they are considered your paramour, and you are considered their paramour. You and your paramore gain the following features:
  • When your paramour makes an ability check, you can use a reaction to grant them an additional 1d8 to their roll.
  • You can use a bonus action to touch your paramour and provide healing. At 1st level, the target regains 1d12 hit points. At 5th level, 2d12 hit points. At 13th level, 3d12 hit points.
  • When your paramour is reduced to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction grant them temporary hit points equal to your current hit points. You are then reduced to 0 hit points and stabilised. You cannot use this feature again until the next dawn.
