Shoal Shrubs

Shoal Shrubs are plants found on the sandy dunes that shallow the vast oceans. These bushy ferns grow quite stout and spread across the shoals as best they can. However, once they run out of room, things get curious. The briars of the shrubs intertwine into branches, they thorn digging into each other, and the shrubs work together to stack themselves atop one another. This process can take several months, even slower during the winter periods. But once completely the two shrubs stand together, with the one at the top soaking in sunlight, whilst the lower half drains nutrients from the water and sands. Druids states that this plant becomes a symbiotic community if given enough space to grow.
