Shimbala

A silver scaled fish found in large schools. Typically inhabiting the coasts of the Xafid sea, these small fish can be seen in reefs feeding on weeds. However they can only be seen during the early hours of the morning, before burrowing in the sand to hide from predators. They come out in the morning as the yellow light of Bala's dawn, reflecting off their scales. This blinds potential predators to dissuade them or, at the very least, reduce their accuracy.
