Pact of the Shadow

You exude an aura that spreads 10ft around you. The aura has both a Passive and Active effect. You must use your bonus action to receive the Active benefit until the start of your next turn. The Passive benefit is always in effect unless your aura is Active.
Passive. You and any creature of your choice gains +1 to ability checks that they are not proficient in.
Active. You and any creature of your choice gains +1 to saving throws that they are not proficient in.
You aura in its passive state takes on subtle but still noticeable presence. Once active, the aura becomes overt, a grant presentation of your power.
Your aura, whilst passive, may appear as a slight discoloration around you, or as a cloak on your person. Whilst your active aura may appear as a fiery ring or nightmarish shadows.
