Kinshi

There are many a beast within the waters across Agora, but none are more revered by sailors and pirates alike than the Kinshi. A sea mammal, so incredibly rare that it is believed to have immigrated from the Astral Sea. They are gorgeous creatures that regularly breach the water. Studies performed by tritons claim that they swim in herds, but move to the surface solitarily. They are incredibly friendly creatures and enjoy dazzling mortals they see with diving tricks and purring calls. Even the most hardened of seafolk soften themselves at the sight of Kinshi breaching the ocean's surface. The Kinshi are so beloved that it has sparked a tradition. If two ships cross paths, no matter their initial intent to one another, and a Kinshi breaches between the vessels, both sides will lower their planks and cross ships and be comrades for a time.
