Gaikama

During the Mortal Wars many technologies and magics were brough into the battlefield. One of the most legendary, was the Gaikama, a berg of land that the Planar Entente utilised to destroy fleets from the Doxard Regime, and the Gren Collective. The starborn soldiers would utilised the islands various terrain to their advantage. The mountians were the shield form bombardments. The forests were the cover for their archers. The cliffs were their high ground from which they abseiled onto the ships that were flattened under the hulking mass of stone and dirt.
The Gaikama was a terror upon the seas for years. Until it no stopped appearing. Doxard fleets were no longer opposed by the island they had come to dread, and their assaults could continue as they always had. No one knows what happened to the island, but many elvish sailors from that generation are wary of islands with high cliffs and wide mountains.
